I like the contrast with the black and green myself, matches my mirrors. I do a lot of wheeling in the Sierra's and didn't know how the paint would of held up rubbing up against manzanita and all. I do like the tire coverage, and I don't seem to get as many rock dings anymore.
that's just about what mine would look like except mine is a little bit diff color green. but that would be the overall look to it plus all the black extras. thats a good looking truck by the way.

Thank you fellas. No, I don't work for SVL, they were located about 30 minutes from my old house in WA. and being an archery buff, had to get the pic.
Big Bucks, like others have said, put em' on and see if you like them, you can always get them painted.
I got mine from Amazon for less than $400 Amazon.com: Bushwacker 20914-02 Pocket Style Fender Flares - Set of 4: Automotive
I went out and bought Bushwacker Pocket style flares and had them color matched(Gray) I have since decided to get some contrast and may buy another set, if I can sell off mine and keep the flares black
as everyone said, buy them and install them as-is(black) and if you decide to paint them, remove them and have them color matched
good luck!
I think if I had a green truck, I would paint the same color as the truck. I have black ones but my color scheme is red/black with very little chrome so it works good for me.
Here's mine:
Are those Bushwacker cut-outs? I'm thinking of flares on mine, cut outs to get rid of some rust issues on PS bed. The problem is, I run a 285/75/16 in the winter and believe it would look silly with the small tire in the opening.

My thoughts exactly! Jeff, or anyone, have you tried that DZ-32 bow?
To keep the thread on track, I like the look of the black flares on trucks, and only painted mine because they originally came in some god awful orangey-gold color I am glad I did it though.
