I think if I had a green truck, I would paint the same color as the truck. I have black ones but my color scheme is red/black with very little chrome so it works good for me.

Here's mine:

I think either body color or IF you have a color scheme like Scott's truck, then you could go with the black, but if you've got chrome bumpers then black flares won't work IMO. Silver, grey, or any other color would only work if your truck was two-tone already. Otherwise to me it'd be an OBVIOUS bolt-on and complete mismatch. But I'm a picky dirtbag... LOL

I still say paint them forest green. That's just my opinion though.

Maybe photoshop them black onto a pic of your truck?

With all the add-ons being black the black flares should look good. JMHO. You can just temporarily put them on one side and see what you think.
If not satisfied then paint them.

I got bushwacker street flares to cover some rust work, and kept them matte black. It went well with my red truck (like Scott's).

If all of those accessories are going to be black, I say go with black. However I agree with the quoted post below, just to test the look.

I agree with Robin, pop them on and see how they look. I'm sure that black or green, they are going to look good. Flared trucks look tough.

Makes them bulldog-ish.

I like the contrast with the black and green myself, matches my mirrors. I do a lot of wheeling in the Sierra's and didn't know how the paint would of held up rubbing up against manzanita and all. I do like the tire coverage, and I don't seem to get as many rock dings anymore.

Scott your truck makes me drool.......

Anyways I would go black on green if it was me just to make it stick out a little bit but if it was a two tone truck I would match it with the color on the bottom thats what I am planning one day.
