Im getting ready to get fender flares for my 7.3. i have NO clue what color to get . im thinking black, silver/gray or the same color as my truck, which is like a forest green. HELP!!
I think if I had a green truck, I would paint the same color as the truck. I have black ones but my color scheme is red/black with very little chrome so it works good for me.
I think either body color or IF you have a color scheme like Scott's truck, then you could go with the black, but if you've got chrome bumpers then black flares won't work IMO. Silver, grey, or any other color would only work if your truck was two-tone already. Otherwise to me it'd be an OBVIOUS bolt-on and complete mismatch. But I'm a picky dirtbag... LOL
thanks everyone. my truck looks just like scotts except the color. im getting black wheels grill guard bumpers tool box and just everything black all the way to black cab lights. so with that being said, do yall still think i should go with the same color, or black fender flares
With all the add-ons being black the black flares should look good. JMHO. You can just temporarily put them on one side and see what you think.
If not satisfied then paint them.
I like the contrast with the black and green myself, matches my mirrors. I do a lot of wheeling in the Sierra's and didn't know how the paint would of held up rubbing up against manzanita and all. I do like the tire coverage, and I don't seem to get as many rock dings anymore.

Anyways I would go black on green if it was me just to make it stick out a little bit but if it was a two tone truck I would match it with the color on the bottom thats what I am planning one day.
