they dont do a whole lot for you unless you have the whole ignition system upgraded

well im just looking for a bit of a better spark. i had some cheap duralasts on my old truck which woke it up a ton. so im just looking for a little bit of that. im wishing i would've just got some duralasts.

this was much more trouble then it should have been for ignition wires.

next time i would suggest getting motorcraft racing wires.

if duralasts are from autozone then do not use them.

why shouldnt i use duralasts? they have never done bad for me or my dad and they are lifetime warantied. so whats your opinion on why not to use them.

autozone is known for cheap parts.

all those reasons.

heck you can say that for half the brands that are made. but i've never had a problem with ANY duralast part i or my dad have ever bought. and thats a lot of duralast parts. autozone if at all possible is the only place we buy from.

YOu're lucky then. Every duralast ignition part I EVER bought was bad. It might not have FAILED entirely, but it definitely wasn't a good part. If you want GOOD wires go to Advance and get the motorcraft wires. They are the same wires your truck came with, and no messing with putting boots on them. How often do you have to replace your ignition parts? I found that with the cheaper (wells, duracraft/duralast) part that I was replacing them once a year to cure a rough idle and miss. I go the motorcraft wires from advance and never had to replace them.

i know that autozone parts are crap and if you want to keep buying them that is ok by me.
