After buying my truck i had it towed to my house (90 clicks away) because i didnt want to risk insuring/driving it not knowing if it was running 100%.
Anyhow... before the tow i disconnected the drive shaft, as recomended by the tow driver, and noticed that there was at least 1/4"-1/2" turn play. Is this normal? Something i should worry about?
One...did you mark the drive shaft before you disconnected it? You should add an alignment mark to the two mateing parts before disconnecting.
Two...If you have a quarter turn play in the shaft then you have a rearend that is worn.
