'Barn' Finds...
#17
Speaking of barn finds, this is mine. It spent the better part of 20 years in a barn in Curtis Ohio. The guy bought it used in 1978, (it is a 77 300 I6 2wd) and his last service records show in 1982 it was serviced at 71,000. When I got it there were 80,000 on it.
It was sold at an estate sale, the next owner had it for three weeks, and decided to sale it, that’s when I came into the picture. It is fun to work on, but bringing it back from the dead is a challenge. It had about 10 lbs of bird crap on it, I was shocked how well it looked after several washings and a good coat of wax.
Some of you may have seen these before, sorry for the repeat if you did!
Acres of room to work under the hood! I love it, and everything SAE.
Going to put period correct AM/FM in the dash, after the mechanical issues are taken care of.
Anyone else have a barn find story to share?

to me at even 8 grand for that truck in the pittsburgh area the thing would be a friggin steal especially with the factory cap. i just was wondering though and i'msure someone on here will know, can you put the curved non tilt gear shifter into a tilt column. i think the curved ones look better and ford only put the straight shifter in the tilt colums. and either way i don't want to give the tilt wheel in my 78 bronco.
