What is normal idle behavior?
When I start my 93 F150 5.0 it immediately idles very high. I don't have a tach so I don't know exactly how high it is idling. The only way to get it to idle normal is to push on the throttle for a second then it drops down to a normal idle speed.
I checked for codes but there are none stored. It also starts to run rough or miss after I have been on the highway and get on to city streets under low throttle. Does this sound like a vacuum leak?

I have a lil of the same problem on the 92 F-350 5.8 I drive for work. After replaceing the IAC the truck now idles high and will sometimes settle down a lil after I give it a little gas. I never really thought anything of it but would be nice to know what I could do about it
