150 or 250
looking at getting a new truck with a 5.4 would like to get the 150 but need to haul 1800 to 2000 pounds a couple times a month do you think it;s capable would it do it with air bags or do I need to get the 250.

It's going to depend upon your configuration in the F-150. The '09s have anywhere from great all the way down to embarassingly low payloads. The more options you add, the more the payload drops. You're biggest issue is going to be staying under the GVWR in the F-150 unless you get the HD payload package. Here's a link to a payload thread that was going on a while back:

It wouldn't be as much, if any, of an issue with the F-250. The F-150 would probably do it no problem but you would probably want to consider the HD payload package option.

Basically everything he said ^^^^^^^^. The HD payload package would be a good option for you. Something else to consider is simply hauling some of that on a small trailer if you are really worried about what the lawyer sticker says.
