The buzz test simply tests the ELECTRICAL portion of the IDM to injector solenoid winding to make sure that there are no circuit problems. Internal injector problems will not show up on this test.
The cylinder contribution test will measure the camshaft rotational velocity differences between each injector by disabling one injector at a time and finding out which cylinders contribute equally or insufficiently to engine operation.

Gee, I wonder if there is some real friendly sort of feller in the St. Charles, MO area that is just itchin' to show off his test equipment to someone who will ooh and ahh of its spectacular functionality.
