I have a huge question my truck has been sitting for a few years and so dirt and pine needles and a whole bunch of crap and i want to clean it out so it looks better any tips or ideas?
I like to use that "gunk" foaming cleaner.. i just spray it on just the grimy parts first and then brush the heavy deposits off with a parts brush (about a buck at an auto parts store) and then hose off the motor.... then i'll go back and spray the gunk cleaner all over the engine bay, let sit and then hose it all off.... be sure to cover your distributor and anything else that you don't want wet...
Looks decent compared to a lot of em I have owned. I would pull the valve cover wire brush it good and repaint it and mabey the same to the air cleaner too. Just get a shop vac and a screw driver to knock the chunks loose and clean away.

your engine looks clean, not much grease.just use some compressed air and blow most of the grit off. and greasy areas like the other posts sujested.have fun.
If you put it on Aluminum rinse it very very throughly quickly, do not let it set or it will turn your aluminum black.
Painted surfaces (Like body paint) reduce with water, Do NOT let it set or dry. Rinse throughly with running water or pressure washer.
Engine, engine compartment / Drive train use, Do not pre-wet, spray full strength, brush as required, let it set for as long as necessary, do not allow to dry, watch the grease and grime dissolve away, rinse throughly with running water or pressure washer.
I've used this stuff for ~10 years weekly on the race cars, it's amazing!
Blown motor, Transmission line, oil everywhere, Incredible Pink will clean it up.
