9" 4:11 gear ratio diff
hi all, my name is roo i'm from australia, i own a 77mdl 4x4 f100. i recintaly blow my diff. i am having a really hard time finding a replacement diff down here, i'm just wondering if anyone could help me. i am now looking to buy one from the states, if anyone has one or can tell me where to find one it would make my day.
i am looking for a 9" 31 spline 4:11 gear ratio

9" 4:11 gear ratio diff
My factory 9" 31 spline diff just went <grind> - screwed bearings, planetary and axle gears.
I got quotes from "Diff Trans Spares" in Sydney and "F Super Spares" in Melbourne. "Diff Trans Spares" seemd most reasonable and can machine gears/replace parts inside diff. "F Super Spares" could only replace with new or recon = more expensive. Check the Whitepages or "Parts Peddler" magazine.
BTW what have you done anyway? I'm a little hesitant to jump into ~ $1500 worth of diff! Let me know...
