Well I previously had paint under the ground on my GP controller ground and today I took it off and sanded down behind the ground so it has more of a metal to metal contact. After doing that and going though all the wires making sure the contacts are tight. I like usual test started my truck, and heck its harder then heck, I believe since my temp on the truck was around 130 degrees, may contributed because all it did was do the after glow where it click on and off about 20 times...Any help? Really need it fixed in the next few hours..I guess its getting to good of a ground. I know I have one bad GP and before I cleaned up the ground the truck would start perfect but would not do the after burn.....
Be sure you have the wires correct and not touching anything in the newer controller. I ran a ground wire from the battery to the black wire to give it an excellent ground.
I updated to the solid state. Well apparently I fixed it, must been a loose wire or something, cause it works good now. Before when I had the problem it wouldn't stay solid at all, it came on and started clicking, but now it stays on about 10-15 seconds.
