frame width
DOes anyone know the frame width (from outside frame rail to outsie frame rail) on an 87-91 F-350 4x4??

Width 79.0 inches
go to kbb.com, they have almost every specs you need for trucks or cars

hmmm
that would make it over a 6ft wide frame. i cant see that..
should be something like in the 30+ inch range

you have to go to the used cars section then fill in the description of your vehicle, then when it gets to the page that tells you how much it costs, theirs a button on the left hand of the page that says specifications and after that you click on technical specs

yea i too found that area, they give body width and height no frame info

yea, u can always go measure ur truck with a tape measure and do it that way

I recall 42" or 47" from outside frame to outside frame. Was in the process of swapping a
HD D70 axle into a 87 F150 frame for a woods truck but didn't due to $$$

I believe it 41"
How I know because I have 2 snow plow mounts for that years it is 41" after 1992 it 40"

Ok, right above the rear axle, the frame is 38" wide from outside to outside, 42" from spring mount inner edge to same on rear axle.
Did not mesure the front as I had to fight off some fire ants.....
