Just hit the "OD off" button and cruise on.
Sparkplugless- everything you asked about is normal. On the idling question, it is a good idea to let it "idle out" for a bit after driving. I like to see less than 350 degrees on my pyro before shutting down, it usually only takes a minute or less to get there.
