I Have missed you all!
Hi gang. JimG 1098 is back on line and I have missed each and every one of you.
It was a long winter, so to speak. The economy took a lot out of me this year. But work is picking back up and I am saving up for a new shop compressor.
I have been riping down the truck for blasting and have removed the doors, glass,etc, Front clip is off and the cab bolts are out. All the stuff is off the fire body. Our two sons are coming down in May or June to hang out and help me remove the cab and old water tank from the back ( 600 gal). I have cut the tank loose and it is ready to be lifted out. Bought a new chain block ( Ross 1 ton) and got a good deal on their e-bay store.
A friend is coming over soon to pull the winshield and rear glass out. ( he works in the business). All the old electric has been pulled out.
As we get into the blasting, I'm sure I will have lots of questions.
Cant wait to get back into it
