Unhappy Backup Camera

I want to hook up a backup camera on my 1989 F150 and it is supposed to be wired to the backup lights. Where do I find the correct wire at the rear end of the truck? Thanks.

Here's the schematic for an 88. I would think the 89 would be the same.

Remove one of the rear tail light housings which are held on by 4 Phillip screws.

Pull the tail light housing out and you'll see the bulb holder for the reverse light. The bulb holder should have two wires going to it. A Black wire which is ground and a Black/Pink wire which has 12 volts on it when the transmission is in reverse and the ignition key is in the RUN position.

You can splice into the Black wire for the camera's ground and the Black/Pink wire for the camera's 12 volts.
