I'm fed up offering my 2002 f250 2wd , all the people want 4wd , I was planning to convert it in 4wd to sell it faster , but who know, I think that it could be worst because the VIN will remain 2wd , what do u think - thanks

Its your location.... It would sell much easier in the south or southwest USA due to the weather conditions generally don't require 4x4... the 7.3L Diesels are always in demand esp with contractors, horse people (My sister is a horse nut thats how I know)...
I think it does have a little to do with the location, but also what the perspective buyers plans are for it.
I have never owned a 4wd, I never got into the mudding, and off-roading like my friends did, and living in Florida I have no "real" need for 4wd for winter driving like our friends living in states where it snows.
May be try Ebay...

I think the 4x4's look tougher, but I also have no need for four wheel drive. I prefer the two wheel.
I see alot of lifted 4x4's here in Florida, and when I talk to the owners, most cant recall ever using 4 wheel drive? I lived in Ohio for 30 years, and you could'nt have gave me a two wheel truck up there!
I still marvel at the fact that the underside of my 99 looks brand new...not all covered in rust!!

I wouldn't recommend doing a 4wd conversion. It will cost you more than you'd ever realize in added value.
Selling on eBay or Craigslist would probably be good.
The 99 2WD PSD I own was listed on eBay for over 7 months by the first owner-- I bought it after his last ad expired. He was in Cincinnati, O. and I think the reason it sat unsold for so long was the combination of manual 6-speed, 2WD, and location (4WD's are preferred in Ohio, I guess). I was as happy as could be to get it for 9 G's and I've put over 50,000 mi. on it in the last two years. I don't drive it in the winter; I have a '97 F150 4WD for that.( I never needed 4WD until I got one last year--now I don't want to winter over in Ohio again without one.) The PSD sits in the back shop bays waiting patiently for the camping trailer season to continue.
Hi, I don't mean to offend you here but here is some stuff I've learned over the years. It's not location, it's always the same thing with cars and trucks, it's price. When you get it to the right price it will sell. I see lots of 99-02s with 150K for sale here in Ga for 6 to 8 K. I can't speak for their condition and I probably wouldn't sell mine for that but I see plenty of them. I don't know what the "book" says and I don't know what you're asking for your's but back when I sold cars a fellow told me a truth: "all cars are worth the same thing, they are worth exactly what you can get for them". In my opinion the most accurate indicator of a vehicle's value is the little auction book or sheet that tells you what stuff sold for at the last 30 days of auctions. Get a hold of one of those (from any wholesaler) and you will be able to price your truck to sell. Also consider that while these trucks are pretty awesome the folks who buy them used are often construction workers and most of them are in hard times. One more suggestion, research ebay and craig's List and see what price similar stuff sells at. Not what's ask but what they sell at or on the flip side, what they don't sell at. If one times out at a certain price you can assume it is over priced. Most people will back away from an overpriced (in their opinion) vehicle rather than taking a chance on offending the seller with an offer. I hope this helps. Stan
Things that need to be done ASAP, such as tires, brakes, bad oil leaks etc. ?
Can you answer those questions.
Maybe its condition, or price, or both.
Personally for a daily driver I much prefer a 2 wheel drive, for hunting trips, and mid winter sometimes 4x4 i nice, and pulling a large boat up a slippery ramp from a lake or river.
