Shift interlock replacement
Anyone got a procedure to replace the interlock switch on a 2004 console shift. I have searched several times and have only found diagnosis of the problem. I need a procedure to replace the switch. Thanks.

The switch is located on the side of the transmission.
This is my '01 4R100 trans.
The unit on the right of the photo is the switch. Unplug the harness, un-clip the cable. Remove the mounting bolts. Console or column the procedure is the same.
