Lake of the Prairies
Hey guys, just wondring if anyone knows whether or not the raod down the West side of the lake is paved or not? I was looking at campgrounds on the wets side for mid July. That way it'll be closer to run to Yorkton for the cruise night. I was thinking Pyott's would be about the right distance. It's nice and secluded too. I don't like really busy campgrounds. As long as it has electrical service and a place to moor the boat, that's all I need. Pyott's has both. and the moorings are right beside the campsites too!! On the other hand, I don't want to pull the boat down miles and miles of gravel. Not worried about the truck or camper, just the boat.
How does that sound Sherm? Think you could make it out for a sail on the ol' girl?

I'm likely going to be there from the Wednesday through Sunday, so that could work out well. I called the campground and they said there's only about 2 1/2 miles of gravel from the #486 (highway running up the west side of the lake) to the campground.
It'll either be that one or Killman's just south of Dropmore. I'll decide which as the time gets closer. I've still got to get the cmaper set up as a 5th wheel so I can pull it and the boat legally.
