Hi all, had to sign up with a different handle since it's been so long since I've posted. Anywho I have an '04 f-350 6.0. I blew a head gasket right after pulling a cargo trailer back from FL. Got that fixed (3 weeks) and when I picked it up it didn't have ANY turbo boost. After ANOTHER 3 weeks the mechanic at the Ford garage has thrown enough parts at it to sink a battleship, including the latest ford approval to put another turbo on it. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I may suggest to the mechanic to try or check out? I'm about ready to lose it on the stealership. I obviously have been without a truck for about 45 out of 60 days. HELP!!!
It's hard to figure out what they've replaced on this visit (extended) to the dealership. I'll have to dig out the previous reciepts to let someone figure out what's happened.
Everything was fine until about 40,000 or 41,000 miles then I had a left ball joint go out, then the water in the fuel drain plug (brass) stripped out necessatating a new face plate and some type of new two into one harness (for the fuel pump assummingly). Next visit was about injector or inj. harness problems. That was another 3 week fix. Now the problem after the head gasket was replaced.
If I PM someone with the VIN # can/would an explanation be possible as I don't read Ford mechanic latin code.
