Not sure on yours, actually. Look around -- you'll see a strap going from the block to the fender or fire wall someplace. BUT, it doesn't really matter. All you have to do is screw it into the test port on the trans. Don't use any teflon tape or anything. The outer part of the sensor with the threads is the actual ground for it.
If ya talkn bout the vans with the sliding doors, we dont have em.
Every one over here drives from the right side.
I painted the pillar mount tonight. will give it another hit tomorrow mornin.
Then I will put in the Pyro sensor and trans sensor. All the wires are hooked up ready to go, just gotta wait for the paint to dry.
BTW, how the hell do you get the pillar mount back in ?
Had a dumby run when I fitted it to the factory pillar. those pods hit the dash when I treid to get the bottom in.
I remove the door weather seal now, pulling it off just in that area.. Angle in the bottom first, watching the clips, trying not to force anything, while forcing it.. I have gotten rather good at it, but still dont enjoy it.
But feed the bottom first, you need to be angled toward the seat , if you go to close to the window your clips will be on the wrong side of the pillar support.. Like I said though, pulling the weather stripping ( towards the door ) allows me to watch the clips. I always use a screw driver to help guided the bottom, then the second clip into place.
