I know what you mean about the diesel prices Shawn. The ambo has a nice large tank that does get quite thirsty here and there.
yeah big controversy on here bout which ones more fuel efficient. v8 diesel v10.. ntm who can out pull who... but 6 grand for the diesel on the tag price and diesel practically twice what gas is.. just aint worth it to me... and on trips i dont need to be driving around trying to find a diesel station.. when gas is more easily found..
Yeah theres bio diesel.. ya could make cheaper when at home.. but then your burning diesel to go get the oil from those companys ntm you can also run into problems of them not wanting to give it to ya due to their under contract with a disposal company.. on top of that then youd have to buy all the equipment and all those chemicals to make it...
Hello i just put bigger tires and rims ony my f250 superduty and now it shakes replaced tie rod and steering stabilizer can you help thanks for your time
The ambo is diesel because it is actually quite effecient in the application it is in. Espcially since you have to factor in extended high idle periods, high speed driving, a large electrical demand. the gassers just cant handle that kind of demand.
dont get me wrong.. i love the sound of a diesel.. i just dont have the need for one...
and i also dont have a problem with f150's either... i loved the loaner one (even though it wasnt clean inside) i got to drive around when the mustang was in the shop... which i found hilarious that my car was in the shop for repairs and the loaner had the SES light on lol... but ive already got a 1/2 ton.. and wanting something with a little more umph ntm pulling/hauling ability...

sounds like they werent balanced properly.. that or who ever tightened the wheels down didnt do the star pattern so the wheels are left cocked slightly..

definitely there... theyre a better work horse for stuff like that... if i was getting a worker truck or something like that itd be one thing.. but this is gonna be a mostly pleasure / working truck.. i want it comfy but do what i want it to do.. and if i need more power.. i can just throw a supercharger on there and itll do just fine.. and get a little better mileage too since it wont have to work as hard..

Make sure there balanced right, on bigger tires it doesnt take much to make them shake.
