351 EFI swap
I posted this question on another part of our forum, but thought I would add it here in case someone here has an idea or two. I have an 87 F 250 that has had the 351 Carb engine replaced with an EFI 351. It runs just fine and I have no real issues except I feel like it is a bit fuel starved. Also, I cannot find a place to hook up an analyzer since it does not have the port in the cab. Any ideas on how to make sure this engine is performing well?
I considered changing back to a carb engine since that is what I know, being the age I am and all, but I think I would like to learn how to work with the EFI. Any references that I could access to get started?

I thought 87 trucks were all factory fuel injected at least my 88 is. The diagnostics port is on the the drivers side fender in the engine bay, check out this link for info on location. Ford Fuel Injection How To Run a Self-Test

88 was the first year for factory fuel injection on the 351. only the 302 trucks had efi in 87. if they did the wiring swap correctly there should be a plug in for a code reader on the drivers side fender.
