High idle mod

Hello,

I did the high idle mod on my 2004 PSD, works awesome.

Does anyone know if this is possible on a 2003 Excursion with the 6.0L?

I can almost assume the wiring harness for both vehicles is probably identical.

no, it's not so easy...you have to run your own wire to the PCM..I've done it and it works great...

The wire for the high idle is for an aftermarket PTO which isn't usually installed in Ex's so the wire isn't there. But like william said it is possible by running your own wire.

The vehicle in question belongs to a friend of mine. I haven't looked at it to be honest with you.

When you guys say "run your own wire to the PCM", does this involve opening the PCM to route the wire or is it a matter of running a wire to the PCM and splicing into another wire?
