H5 Axle code 4.10:1 gearset

is the H5 possi gear set really hard to find or fairly common? would it greatly increase the value of a truck?

H5 Axle code 4.10:1 gearset

I've tried to find a '87-'91 year Bronco with the EFI302/AOD/4.10:1(H5) combination for awhile.When I bought my 1990,it had 3.55:1(H9 code),but had 4.10:1 gears swapped in.In order to have the H5 code 4.10:1s, meant a 302&AOD were on board your Bronco,or F-150.I also remember seeing in either a brochure,or salesman's book,that the addition of 4.10:1 gears,meant you had to have manual-locking hubs,too.That option(supposedly....) wasn't available with automatic hubs.I'm looking for another '87-'91 year Bronco with the H5 axle code.My guess is the 302/AOD/4.10 gearing combination was more common in F-150s,than in Broncos.I would say it would be a somewhat rare combination.The benefits are your truck would have more towing capacity,and would be somewhat quicker from a standing-start.
