94 H.O swapped into a 93 non H.O???

I have a 93 bronco, engine blew so can't rebuild it I'm looking at crate engine's and the 1993 non H.O is almost 2 grand but the 1994 H.O is actually cheaper and would be an upgrade if I'm guna swap engines anyways might as well put something beefyer in at only $1,600 so can I simply swap the newer H.O engine into the older truck and have the stock computer work properly or do I need to find a 94 H.O computer? List all id need to change please so the truck can be daily driver able and all done in one shot I know someone has had to do this swap before thanks !

I'm not too familiar with the differences so I can't give you everything you need.

However, I'm pretty sure the firing order between the H.O. and none H.O. is different. Because of that, I'd assume you'd need the matching distributor, TFI module, and computer as well (the match the plugs in the proper order). I'd think many of the other sensors would be the same though.

The '94+ truck motor does have a little bigger cam than the earlier motor and uses the newer firing order but its not the mustang HO motor. Just saying..

Now as far as swapping a '94 spec truck motor into an earlier truck that is no problem, the plug wires need to arranged for the 13726548 firing order but otherwise no other changes are necessary.

what do u think the HP rating would be on the truck H.O? If stock intake and shorty headers go on it

The '94 truck motor was rated 210hp, shorty headers won't add anything if the factory cats and Y pipe remain, do something about that and you could see 10-20hp gain.

what exactly is the difference between a bone stock 302 and a bone stock H.O 302? Like what exactly is put into the H.O to make it a "H.O"?
