get a double roller timing chain, the 360 isn't much of a power house.

If your heads aren't drilled and tapped for rocker studs you will need to get that done or get a conversion kit for the rockers. You will need a set guide plates too. Check for push rod length and get a set of hardened pushs rods.

Your rockers need to be mounted to studs to keep them in line. Not knowing what heads you have, some already have the holes drilled and tapped for studs. Push rods have to be hardened so they don't wear where they pass through the guide plate. It's important to measure for the right length, as things get changed the old length usually won't work.

Turns out that the parts I bought on craigslist locally were for a sbc, lol (such a nerd). But were all new and came with receipt. So I took them back to lopers Welcome to Lopers Speed! and got them exchanged for the right motor. But instead of roller rockers I got a dbl rllr timing set & valve springs and a bigger cam.I am on super budget

Does the metal valley pan under the intake suppost to be used if I put an performer intake? The gasket kit has only 1 set of intake gaskets,it apears like I need 2 sets for a valley pan.

The valley pan I removed from a 1983 7.5L 460 was one piece metal pan that had gaskets on top n bottom between the intake n the head.I bought a new one but the metal pan only sits on front n rear seals. Is the v pan really necessary?
