Yes, the 351M and 400 share bell housing bolt pattern with the 460. I've not done one of these swaps so I can't give you much more in the way of specifics.
If you're truck originally had a 351M/400 then all you need to do is swap the motor and mounts. I was about to do this in my 78 before I traded it. You also may want to upgraded to a bigger radiator.
