tranny? Wired or Normal?
I have a 98 F150XLT 4x4 SC (5.4L), When I am at about 40Mi/h in 3rd, I step on the gas to accelerate a little, the rpm jump up 300-400 rpm, then drop about 200-300 rpm and it starts accelerating. Same story in overdrive. I dont know if that is normal or not, Have had that same thing in my 97 Expedition, 5.4L, and in a 98 MarkVIII, 4.6L
