My friend needs some help. He has a Jeep Wrangler that the drivetrain just complete distroyed itself. So, he is replacing it with an explorer 8.8 axle and probably d44 up front. He is putting a 350 chevy in it with about 400hp so now he is trying to figure out what tranny he should put in it and is looking for opinions. He'll take it (light) off roading once in awhile, and tow 1 snowmobile probably once or twice a year if that. His main concern is going fast with it. So he wants a tranny that will be good all around. Must be a 5 speed manual and have enough strength to take 400hp. Can anyone chip in?
