Too bad you're not closer, I have a spare 48-52 door but all I needed from it is the coil latch spring. You wouldn't happen to know someone heading up to Northern Alberta would ya........LOL

Hey Flathead,

There are two guys down in Kingman who I'll bet have a couple of them. Also, I'll bet Ilya has one (51Panelman). Shoot, He put on a thread about a free cab and said it didn't include the doors (which WERE on it in the picture - so unless he had a buyer, he has them) he's in San Jose! You guys could meet up in Fairfield!

Thanks everyone and yes I wish I did live closer to some of you. Sorry, no I don't know anyone going to Alberta or for that matter I don't even know anyone in Canada. Thanks for the suggestion Julie but I don't think Ilya wants to do any business with me. We had done a swap earlier on a NOS part that I had and I didn't get everything that I thought I was going to get in the deal. I also sent him a list of parts that I was looking for and he said he would look for them but he never got back to me so obviously he's not interested in doing any business. Besides he wants $200 each for doors and that's just too high in my opinion. I believe Ilya is all about making money selling the parts and not helping a fellow enthusiast out. I've been ripped off one too many times because I'm too trusting of people and always want to believe the best about them, but I'm really getting fed up with people who you can't take at their word. I'm a man of my word and if I say I'm going to do something then I do it and follow through with it, apparently that's not the same for other people. I'm dismayed by the lack of courtesy given by others. They want respect from you but are unwilling to give it back.

If anyone out there has a driver's side door mechanism with the locking feature for a '51 or '52 I am interested .Also looking for an emergency brake cable boot (in decent condition) that covers the cable where it attaches to the pivot clevis . Need one to take a mold from so the reproduction process can take place .Thanks guys & Julie .
