Welcome to FTE.

You need to slow down and tell us all about your truck and the mods you have right now. You don't just put injectors without some supporting mods. Let us know, then we can help you go in the right direction.

Welcome to FTE. As Rick said, you need the proper supporting mods first. Besides, with these computer controlled engines, you'll get more out of a custom chip than you will by dropping in different injectors. You can always add the bigger injectors later and have the chip tweaked to run them.

A custom chip like one from DP will run circles around an off the shelf product like Edge, Diablo, Superchips, etc.

Upgrade your intake, add a set of gauges if you don't have them already, then check out someone like DP-Tuner.com and their tow tunes. How many horses are you pulling, and is it up and down the mountains?

The cheap version for an intake is the 6637, which is a Wix 546637 filter. You can also look into an AFE stage 2, or the Ford AIS intake. Don't forget the gauges. You'll want to monitor boost pressure, tranny temps and EGT's to make sure you don't hurt anything. Something else to consider is a shift kit to firm up the shifts and help the tranny last a little longer.

Rick has the DP in his truck and recently upgraded his injectors. With the combination of those 2, he can break the back wheels loose on his dually while cruising around. If he doesn't chime back in tonight, he'll have more input in the morning.

Ok, doing it right the first time is a good idea. But you need to listen to what we are saying, lots of these guys have done the trial and error for you, so you don't make the same mistake and spend money on things you don't need. Chris knows his chit, you need a good intake, you have the exhaust, but gauges are a must. After you get these things done, then we can talk chip and valve body. Once you get to that point, you may not want to do turbo and injectors, because your truck will pull like a beast. With the mods I have right now, I can pull the beast.

Don't get in a hurry, do these as you can afford them, just don't buy anything till you come on here and ask us. You will not go wrong here.

EDIT: Yeah, I can putt alone at 15-20 mph, stump the pedal and break the tires loose on my dually. Don't ask what happens when I put it in 4x4 and boost to 20# and let the brake go.

I agree with everything else that has already been said. One more thing about injectors is that you have to have custom tuning to run them anyway, so you will need to get a custom chip at some point anyhow.

Isspro, Autometer, and Dipricol are the best out there for gauges. I have and prefer the Isspros myself. If you can swing it, get the Performax line.

Hey, Will. lol. I took Chad for a ride when we did his turbo rebuild. He said, man, I know you lifted the front wheel off the ground. . Better have nothing in the cubby holes on the dash, they end up in the back seat.
