bucking and jumping problem when accelerating!!
my 86 f150 bucks and jumps liek crazy whne i try to accelerate. i have to practicly hold my foot above the gas pedal to go and i cant get over 35 mph or it will buckand jump when i push the pedal down the slightest bit harder. Any ideas what thismight be?

Sounds like a busted motor mount (or tranny mount). If you can see the air cleaner while sitting in the cab with the hood up, start it with the emergency brake on and put it in gear (if auto) or let the clutch out slowly while holding the brake pedal hard. Give it a little bit of gas. If the air cleaner moves more then about an inch to one side, or you hear a thump under the floor near the tranny, check out your mounts. Mine did this too, and it turned out to be the drivers side mount.
It can also be a loose bearing holder on two piece driveshafts. The rubber eventually shrinks and breaks down, and the shaft can shake pretty bad. It could also be an engine problem, but not likely.
