you need to figure out if they are talking about the center differential carrier bearings, or the axle bearings out by the wheel/ tires. the outer bearings are pressed on the axle hafl shaft, then the shaft if poked down the tube from the outside toward the center differential. there are C clips inside that hold the axle from coming back out. to remove you have to remove the wheel and brakes, then take off the center differential cover and drain the oil to get at the c-clips.
