Well I've owned my 4X4 Lariat S/Cab since mid January and have no problems to this point (hope I am not jinxing myself). I was an owner of an 06 S/Crew prior and had no problems with that one either. I have around 3k on the truck now and it is basically a daily driver but it has already towed a trailer with a car on it and has hauled about a million loads of tree branches and hunted on every muddy road I could find. I must say growing up a GM person, I have thoroughly impressed with the 2 Ford trucks I have owned recently. So I guess my questions is, is any disappointed with there truck due to frequent trips back to the dealer for petty repairs or even major ones. I would like to hear what if anything problems I could be looking for or try to prevent. Thanks everyone and sorry about the ramble. Oh yea I switch to Ford because I couldn't get a Chevrolet dealer to even think about making a deal with me back in 06, I guess they thought there new body style would sell themselves.
3 weeks and my only problem was a flat because I ran over a bolt on the way to work. Ford Roadside Assistance was great, but a little repetitive with the questions. I was told to expect service in 40 min and it was there in about 12 min. They had me do a follow up review of the service that day then mailed me on about a week later.

Did you get the tire repaired at no charge? Where, Ford or the tire company?
2009 f150 5.4 3.55ls super cab. Had my truck for almost 2 months now and 2100 miles, only two problems so far. have not taken it in yet. Tranny temp gauge works when it feels like it. When i hit the brakes the pedal goes to the floor, let go and hit the brakes again then its right on top. other than those two items its the best truck i have ever owned so far.
09 supercrew 4x4 4.6 so far so good.. only issue would be and exhaust rattle under certain load conditions nothing I'm worried about. I've notice the front tires are wearing a little funny on the outside edges but I think this is just the way trucks are as my chevy would do the same and my brothers Escape is the same.. Love the truck so far

I got it fixed for free but I did not go to Ford or a tire company, my dad manages a shop so I just went there. From the factory these tires do not come with Road Hazard but it can be purchased. I keep meaning to go to Goodyear and by it but I just never seem to remember when I have time.

you can't mention something like that and not give us any details - what happened?
alright alright. i was proving to my buddy that the new truck could do a nasty burnout, and it did. then i was easing off the brake to walk off from the burnout and hit a bump in the road. well the back end started hoping and as soon as i went to let of the gas the wheels got one more good bite on the road and snap. broke it right at the end of the driveshaft before the u-joint.
