i dont wanna throw too much money on a truck that might not even make it on the road (may become winter truck b/c of my gto that's getting fixed right now)
I put those on my Bronco years ago fit good .Only issue is the cross member have to get the 2 or 3 inch drop straight pipe(Summit sells these pipes also) to go under or over cross member
i would get some that are coated with a heat inhibitor,,like jet hot.
Your kind of like me, it's hard to spend $300-400 on a set of headers for a truck that I only paid $300 to start with. As I agree the coated headers are nice but when they cost as much if not more then what you paid for the truck, it's a little hard to swallow.
As far fit, if I where a gambling man I would think they would. From everything I have read the frame is the same width on the F150s.
Also, I just did a quick search on Summit for your application. Here are a couple cheapies that are listed for your year.

Does anyone have pix of the method to get around the crossmember? I am installing headers this weekend and I want to see what I'm up against.
It depends on why you need them. It may be a waste of money if this is just a winter driver for chugging around in the snow. The power in headers is more in the higher rpm range. There isn’t much torque improvement at low rpm’s over stock manifolds and stock manifolds are a heck of a lot sturdier. I like the Hedman Elite series. They seem to be the sturdiest for headers, but to each his own.

i'm also gonna be running the truck in the local mud bogs and mud drags, so that's where its gonna hit some high rpms
I don't know about the 4X4 but I can get a pic of the crossmember on my 2wd. I had to use some hedman hedder extensions to route the exhaust up over my tranny cross member. Hedman Hedders 18804 - Hedman Universal Header X-Tensions

so bolting cutouts straight to the headers would be out of the question?
If I remember right it's only about 8-12" from the end of my blackjack headers to the cross member. The cross member is almost centered on the end of the header out-put.

o, so my cutouts would fit, i think... they were made by my dad to fit straight onto the headers, and it think they're like 10" long. could u post pics of how close the headers come out to the crossmember?
