I used to have a nice SK long flex head 3/8" ratchet that I used everyday until the pin that holds the head on fell out and got lost, turned it in for warranty but the new one isn't as nice not as smooth and it is hard to get sockets on and of and if it is a short socket you need to pry it off with a screwdriver. I just use a standard Snapon now both in plastic and metal handles and I have a long handle 3/8" with the plastic grip for more stuborn bolts, the same goes for 1/4" and 1/2" drives. All I use is Snapon ratchets anymore but have a drawer full of other brands for repair missions that might cause the loss of life for a ratchet

I love my SK tools. I have an old 1/4" drive set. It has label on the inside where Junior Johnson is recommending SK Wayne tools. I sometimes find some nice vintage SK on eBay. Unfortunately I have had that 1/4" set since they were new back in the 60s...makes me old!
