The only mod you would need should be the driveshaft- I may be wrong, may need a different cross member, but I don't think so. But, that C4, properly set up, can handle just about anything that 5.0 can throw at it. What are your mods now, and what do you seriously plan on doing soon?
ok I have a 67 factory straight six truck I just made the mistake of putting in an engine that had been sitting up and that I did not know much about turns out the engine runs but it has serious blowby oil is blowing out of the dipstick and exhaust ports I decided that I would rebuild the engine and haven't even been able to see if the c4 would work so I just decided that I would go ahead and get both rebuilt the c4 tranny and engine and then a mechanic told me that if I was going to do all that I should try to find a c6 to go in there but that means a lot of headaches another torque converter and another flywheel and they are kinda hard to find the only mod I have is headers don't plan on hauling anything or pulling any trailers just normal driving and maybe a little showing off every once in a while. you think the c4 could handle that and how should I tell the tranny shop to build it.
