Hey guys, I searched every thread for Gauge install. Here is my dilemma: all the ones I found have autos and went through the clutch delete plate. Where did you guys with the manuals exit the firewall?
Manuals are no longer "standard". I ended up drilling a hole through the firewall to run my pyro wire and boost tubing through. I can't remember exactly where, but it's toward the brake/accelerator pedal side, just pick a spot that is clear on both sides of the firewall. I ran them through a couple inches of clear hose/tubing through the firewall instead of a grommet. I got my fuse taps with my guage install kit from Tymar.
I ran mine thru a hole that has a rubber plug in it. I think it was bolted in there, not really sure.
If you are standing at the front of the truck, look directly below the wiper motor gearbox. It is to the left of the clutch master cylinder. Kind of oval or diamond shaped if I remember correctly.
Neal, you are the man. Just popped it off and its a clear shot in. Awesome thanks man. Looks like my grommet that came with the pyro will fit that hole too. Now just to find that hole from the inside.
