My Name is Gary and I have a customer that has a 1997 F250 SD 4X4.
He is asking me to service the diff's both front and rear. After a lengthy Discussion he tells me that he has heard of a kit or someway to install a drain plug system for his front Diff so that it doesn't have to pulled and split each time he changes the fluid.
I have never heard of this and neither has anyone else I have talked too. Do any of you know about this and if so where can I get the details or procedure for installing a drain system on the front Diff.
thanks
Gary
I dont know of a specific kit, but I have a 9" that someone drilled and tapped to bottom of the diff. for a small pipe plug. I thought that was a pretty good idea
