part numbers?
high beam floor switch
battery? I know, couldn't I just measure the tray? but I wanted to find out if there was a specific battery first
fuse block number? trying to stay as close to original as possible as I am okay following wiring diagrams but I am not electrical engineer and don't like figuring out some one else's electrical mess; would rather start from scratch
thanks
I dont have the aftermarket part numbers for any of them but the battery tray...which none are available NOS...

COTZ13A024A .. Dimmer Switch (Motorcraft SW263) Fits: ALL 1960/79 cars/trucks, some well into the 1990's.
1965/66 Motorcraft Battery group numbers: R22F = 45 amps / R24F = 55 amps / R27F = 70 amps / R27FA = 80 amps.
The battery group number is what everyone goes by, dealers and autoparts stores alike.
IMO, the 45 and 55 group batteries do not provide enough cold cranking amps, I'd go with either the 70 or 80 amp battery.
NOTE: Make sure the battery's group number has an F suffix.
If the suffix is a G = GM, the battery terminal positions are reversed.
These same batteries were used thru 1996 on F Series trucks / 1975/91 Econolines / 1978/96 Bronco's.
1960/79 cars also used these same batteries, so they are EZ to find.

Where is the fuse panel on your truck? On the firewall or on the headlamp switch?
Is the manifold to inlet pipe gasket donut shaped or flat?
> > > FTE member AirHarley, who posts in this forum, is a NAPA partsman.
the fuse block is mounted to the inner fender and consists of 2 different blocks, which is why I want to find an original block
my battery is present (pretty rusty but probably fixable), will check NAPA for the appropriate battery
exhaust gasket is probably a donut as it looks like it is a pretty big space; the bolts for the flange are long and a flat gasket would not allow the nuts to be tightened enough to make a good connection

and holy crap, does the fender really need 18 or more bolts to hold it on!!! have broken 8 of them so far trying to remove them, soaking in WD40 for days, really dislike those allen head bolts, going to change to regular head bolts and invest in a large vat of anti-seize compound!
the local Cdn Tire could not find a 66 in their system so I said give me a '71 battery (was in their system) but the battery is taller than I expected and not as long; leaves about 4 inches at the end of the tray
anyone have a physical size on the battery?
thanks

Every one of these trucks (except the 2004) had either an R27F or R27FA in them.
What group numbered battery did you buy?
It's not one of the ones I listed above, it's prolly a replacement battery used in one of the 1980/90's cars like an R35F.
R22F: 6 13/16" (W) / 9 27/64" (L) / 8 5/16" (H)
R24F: 6 13/16" (W) / 10 3/4" (L) / 8 5/16" (H)
R27F & R27FA: 6 13/16" (W) / 12" (L) / 9 3/32" (H)
W = Width / L = Length at top / H = Height.

As original: There's no such thing as a fuse box mounted on the fender apron.
There is only one, it's either mounted on the firewall inside the cab (C6TZ14A068E), or plugged into the headlight switch (C4TZ11A647A).
What color are those blocks...white? If so those are ballast resistors someone added...because the only resistor on these trucks is a wire:
COLF12250A .. Resistor Wire-Ignition Coil / 61.50 " long, color colded PINK.
When you go there looking for a master cylinder, the first thing they ask is what size engine does it have? Their system doesn't allow them to look up any part unless they type in what engine the vehicle has. I'm just amazed they don't ask for the color of the car. Even though their prices are sometimes alright, dealing with the counterpeople and their system can be draining.
