These are the remotes I was given when I purchased the vehicle (used). I guess I will be asking the dealer for the "AB" remotes. Thanks.

it looks like the "AB" remotes are compatible with Ford and the Lincoln...but the "AA" seems to only be Lincoln, and nothing else.

hope the swapout works...if they aren't willing to play ball, you can get the proper remotes for under $20 on eBay

I have the same problem with one of my remotes also. It worked great, then one day one of them just quit opening the liftgate. I reprogrammed them and that one still does not work. The other works fine, so I just use that one as the spare set.

I ordered 2 new "AB" remotes from ebay and they should be here by the weekend. I will let all know the outcome when I get the new remotes. Dealer was no help, not surprised.
