Herbicide spraying. Its conifer release, we spray the newly planted blocks to kill the overgrowth and give the new trees the sunlight they need. In the fall we fertalize the older trees.

Exactly. The cut blocks get replanted, we come in at a set time after the replant and kill the leafy trees so the little conifers can grow.

Well it's good that the forestry companies have gotten better with their reforestation.

So I did some looking around, can't find the name of the lake, but it's close to Vidette Lake, downstream though.

It's a few miles west of Savona, turn right up Deadman/Vidette road, and approximately 21 kms later, you can see Mowich lake through the trees.

Savona is about 35 kms west of Kamloops.

Yep. My buddy's cabin is still west of Savona, the first right after the dump.

Its been resurfaced now....was rather scary on a motorbike before they redid it....lol

Can you say high speed wobble to the extreme when you hit it at about 120 on a bike.....
