Bench to Bucket 2nd row!
Hey all I am wanting to do a Bench to Bucket, or actually captains seats in the 2nd row on my 01 Excursion XLT. I wanted to know if the front seats from a different Ex would simply mount up or if I had to do some modifying. Also does anyone know where I can get a pair of front seats if this is a possibility....as opposed to the dealer who wants $300/seat!!!

I've seen the fronts mounted in the back. I, too, would like to do that one day.
You could call up www. custom autos by tim . com (remove spaces) and see how he does it on his custom trucks. Or you could source the factory captain chairs that came in the second row on some models. Good luck, though. They're not an easy find.

I think Tim also has mounted some on swivel bases like in some of the newer model minivans.
Sometimes you can score here to, because some have the seats and want to convert to the bench.

Whoa!! Thats some crazy stuff Tim does to the Ex and Super Duties!!
CBradford - Where did you happen to find the mismatch seats...I would be willing to get them just because eventually I want to get the interior done anyway!!
