Superchips micro max 1714

Has anyone had problems with this tuner? My truck went to the dealer and now my tuner will not work! It says it needs an update. I called superchips and they want a $100 to fix it beacuse I can't find the reciept! I ought it at least 2 years ago I don't have a reciept anymore. I payed around $300 for this and now they want another $100 to reprogram it!

By the way, I did uninstall it before it went to the dealership.

can you not update it yourself by plugging it in your computer and going to their website.

Not the micro max. It is the older version. I paid all that money for it and now it is garbage beacuse I had the truck to the dealer and they reflashed the truck. The only way it can be used again is if I pay superchips another $100! If I still had the reciept it would only be $29. It's 2 or 3 years old, I don't have the reciept anymore.
