I have a 67 F100 and I have what will probably be a dumb question. I friend of mine has a 78 NOS front bumper and I need to know if it is the same as the one on my 67. I know they were the same as the earlier dent side trucks but wasn't sure about the later ones. I'd hate to have him ship it to me and have it be the wrong one so I thought I would ask you guys. Let me know if anyone knows if they are the same. Thanks.

It might be the same, it might not be...but it will still fit.
Some 1973/79's used the same chrome front bumper (C4TZ17757D) as 1964/72's did, some did not.
There were three 1978/79 bumpers, other than the 1964/72 type.
One is chrome: D8TZ17757A
One is chrome with rectangular holes for horizontal rubber bumper pads: D8TZ17757B But...bumper pads were not used prior to 1973.
All 64-79 will bolt up. They styling is the same through 77, but the 78-79 have a more squared off look to go with the revised front styling of those years.
