I am going to upgrade my stock"auto" hubs to the warn manuals hubs. What is the difference between thier normal and premieum hubs other than price? Where does the fte club recommend i buy them from? And where is everyone blocking off thier vacum source? I am sick in tired of the stock hubs(when your in the auto pos. 2wd one minute they are free next minute one or both has locked) oh...one other question, i assume its just a matter of removing retaing ring to change hub and blocking off vacum source for this upgrade?
The Premiums are a little heavier duty, have a 9/10ths turn to lock for more positive locking. They are all metal with a heavier spring and they just look better. Why settle for OK when the best is available for just a little more. A pair of premiums are still less than one OEM factory hub.

I got them and love the heck out of them. Super heavy duty and works just like the day I bought them over two years ago. Takes about 10 minutes a side to install - about a one beer job and that's not putting the beer down to do them.
Search the internet for them, I bought mine of Montana from a 4x4 shop.. I picked them up cheaper then any other place.. I am searching my old threads to see if I Can find the place now..
I think mine was a little less than that last year when I bought them. I'm a tight wad and do a lot of searching before ordering. They just came up the cheapest.
Don't know if you have a dual rear wheel or not, I do, I called Warn because the parts stores had a note "not for drw", Warn said this is because of the spacer on the front wheel, and that they might not fit. Well I took the chance and they fit fine (other than having to reach in a little ways to turn them. I did however grind off a slight casting burr around the inside of that spacer and repaint it, just in case. I highly recommend the swap.
