i dont have a psd but i have an idi, and why are yall afraid of going over 3000-3400 i run my idi 3800+ all the time and have no problems, and it dont loose power till right at the rpm limiter

I believe our rev limiter is set at 3400 RPM's.

the one on my idi is 3800 from factory but put a governer spring from a 6.2 and its an easy upgrade for 4000 rpm

my idi sounds fine at 3800 runs great there has great power there i have no problem with mine turning that rpm, but my engine only has 90,000 miles on it so its a pretty fresh engine, and i know it is my fault if i blow my motor, but i dont think it will blow because i know whats in my motor and i know when to let off of it, and i didnt know that the psd's were limited at 3400 that's kinda low since idi's come factory at 3600-3800, i wonder why there set lower?
