tranny missing
The other day when the temp dropped a bit in the morning and I hopped in my truck and took off I didn't let if warm up. I slowed for the stop sign and kept going and the tranny didn't drop into first or second went to neutral. I haven't had the problem sense. I change the fluid regularly. Its not burnt smelling, it's full. I doesn't do when it's warm either. I found a thread the other day and I can't find it again about a electronic switch/selenoid on the side of the tranny that could be going out that tells the tranny to go into what gear that it needs. Am I correct on this?
