Looking for a transfer case for my 1995 f150

Hi I'm trying to find out if a np205 will bolt up to my zf5 with out a adapter I tore my bw1356 out and I have a new process and in need some help trying to figure out if have to do any modifications to it for it to bolt up the truck is my daily driver

The 205 will bolt right on, but you will be making custom shifter linkage and custom driveshafts.

Go get another 1356 and bolt it in with zero headaches

Your 1995 F150 came from the factory with the Mazda supplied M5OD trans, unless it has been swapped this is what you have. Also, the BW 1356 should be easy to find because of it's prevalence, could probably trade your NP205 for a BW1356 and get a bit of cash on the deal, not even counting the savings from not having to deal with the custom driveshafts.

It very well could of come with a ZF5 if it has a 300 6 cyl, or it could of been swapped in

I wasn't aware of any '92-'96 half tons that came with the ZF5, mine has the 300 and still has an M5OD. I think the ZF5 might have come in a few pre '92 half tons though.

The f-150's did come with the zf-5. A bit rare but they are out there. Just get another bw1356 and save the headaches. They are very where.
