i have a 2006 f250 5.4, seeing how it isn't as fast as a diesel i wanted to know what are the best performance mods you can do to ramp up the acceleration/torque.
Were talking 7,200 lb's for a 2wd and probably 8,300 Lb's for a 4WD, fast should not be in the vocabulary when talking about these trucks. Maybe a word like quick, or something like >>>>, heck I don't know, but fast, no, they shouldn't be fast. I know, some ARE, but really should they be, I'm glad mine isn't. The word scary would come to my mind if it was.

That's the plan for my 2005 F350... except I want 37" tires. Look at the SCT tuners (X3 or Livewire) from 5 Star Tuning. K&N is the only aftermarket company that offers a full CAI kit for the 2005-2007 F250/F350 with 5.4L engine. I'm working with Doug Thorley Headers on a new long-tune header for the 5.4L engine. Here's the latest on the headers...
